Revealing the built environment through photography has been a life-long passion, and draws upon my 25 years of experience working as an architect, landscape architect, and urban designer to compose beautiful, germane images. I enjoy collaborating with clients to create images that tell the stories of how their ideas for spaces transform into places for people, plants, and animals. I capture formal and street-style compositions of works-in-progress and completed projects to reveal moments, from the sublime to the complicated vibrancy of a place.
I studied architecture and photography at Cornell University, and landscape architecture and urban design at the University of California at Berkeley. I’ve worked as a designer and documentary photographer in various cities and capacities. My first 31 years moving around the world provided me with an extensive education through travels and adventures, but I’ve called the San Francisco Bay Area my home since 2006. Visit Workshopolis to learn more about my academic and professional experience, as well as personal projects addressing social and environmental justice. When not on land, you can find me in the ocean surfing or traveling through the air to distant lands.
